The Study Depot EXTRA Mile College Scholarship

  EXTRA MILE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP: This $500.00 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has gone the “extra mile” in his/her academic career. The scholarship is based on integrity, a meritorious academic record, and evidence of leadership and demonstrated community service. The level of financial need shall also be considered.

 EXTRA MILE ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP: We will present this scholarship to the graduating senior who wins our “Extra-Mile” Essay Contest. The competition is open to students from Oceanside High School, Carlsbad High School, Army-Navy Academy, San Marcos High School, The Grauer School, La Costa Canyon High School, Santa Fe Christian and San Dieguito Academy. Based on the philosophy of the Study Depot, the 1,000-word essay should explain how the ideals and principles the student has incorporated into his/her school career or life demonstrate going the “extra-mile”. A committee will judge the submitted essays and the winning recipient shall receive the $500.00 scholarship award at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

 EXTRA MILE MATHEMATICS SCHOLARSHIP:  Study Depot hosts a mathematics contest allowing some of the finest mathematicians in North San Diego County to compete for a $500.00 scholarship. Math Department Chairperson’s from Oceanside High School, Carlsbad High School, Army-Navy Academy, San Marcos High School, The Grauer School, La Costa Canyon High School, Santa Fe Christian & San Dieguito Academy are invited to submit their top 5 students (juniors or seniors), from which we will choose a maximum of 20 to compete. This competition is purely focused on excellence in mathematics.

We are creating & supporting a scholarship that could be won by a student you know. This is a local scholarship fund for North San Diego County Students.
